The chemical industry sector is extremely sensitive, since vast quantities of dangerous chemicals are involved. This leads to stringent requirements for the valves used. Somas control valves and on/off valves live up to these standards and find frequent use in the chemical industry. We have been meticulous in the design and manufacturing of our valves. VALVE TYPES IN THE CHEMICAL INDUSTRY
Somas delivers a number of different valves to customers in the chemical industry. Most are used as control – or manually/remotely activated on/off-valves. Somas ball segment valves are the most common for control purposes while butterfly and ball valves are used for on/off applications.
Meeting the demands of the chemical industry comes natural for us here at Somas as an integral part of our normal development effort. Our valves are made of stainless materials, but can also be delivered made of titanium or high-nickel alloys.
