Do you have special control requirements that must be met? Requirements unique for the pharmaceutical industry? At SOMAS we make our valves from stainless materials, but if you as a customer so desires we can also supply valves made from titanium och nickel-rich alloys.

Generally speaking, the valves are put to use as control valves and remotely or manually actuated on/off valves. The most common control valve is SOMAS ball segment valve. For on/off applications butterfly valves and ball valves are used.

SOMAS actuators meet the control objectives

SOMAS valves are a perfect match for the pharmaceutical industry. Our actuators are made from aluminium with special surface treated and stainless steel. Meeting the existing control requirements is a matter of course for the SOMAS team, and the choice of materials in our actuators are consequently adapted to the demands of the pharmaceutical industry. The actuator exerts its maximum torque in the fully open or closed positionand there for the function is assured.
